This is the thread I use to close my 12x12 paper box. This is the first use it's gotten in a while because the other circle to wind it around fell off long ago. I can probably fix it, but I haven't yet.

I thought it would be so much fun if we made cards that we could all trade with one another. We enjoy looking at each other's photography so much, it would be great if we could have a little piece of art to touch and hold.

Please leave me a comment if you're interested. I don't know how I'll work out the details yet... I just want to get an idea of about how many people want to get in on the swap. I'm thinking that I can set it up so that we can make cards in sets of 3-5. I did some research, and it costs 90 cents for me to sent an envelope overseas from California. Sending so few cards shouldn't hurt any one's bank account much. If someone else could let me know how much it costs for them to send an envelope to the US, that would be great!

I'm REALLY looking forward to hearing what you all have to think. This is going to be so much FUN!

I cooked some carbonara for dinner, and couldn't resist using bacon as my fat picture. Not that I don't have enough fat in other places... :) YUM! It's still cooking, I'm posting this in the kitchen by the stove. LOL

I also thought that this shot was rather brilliant. I love that you can see all the way down into the bud. I didn't choose it as the main pic because it looked a little too blurry.

This is the best I could do as the batteries kept dying in my camera, and I only had 2 replacements instead of the 4 that I needed. BUT... I'm getting a new camera... soon, by Christmas maybe. Then, I'm learning how to use ALL the features and take pics like a real pro. WOOT!
